Straight From the Field: Istanbul
I had the privilege of joining my first Mercy Trip with Droplets of Mercy to Istanbul, where we delivered aid to Uyghur orphans and widows. It was truly an unforgettable and rewarding experience.
One of the most meaningful parts of the trip was finally meeting the beneficiaries we had worked so hard to raise funds for. Seeing the impact of the donations firsthand and hearing their stories brought everything into perspective. It was a powerful reminder of why this work is so important.
From start to finish, the trip was exceptionally well organised. Everything ran smoothly, and the professionalism of the logistics made the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable. The Droplets of Mercy team were absolutely wonderful — welcoming, supportive, and always willing to help. Their care ensured that every aspect of the trip was handled with excellence.
I came away from this experience feeling inspired, grateful, and even more committed to supporting this important cause.
